STUDY VIA OPEN AND DISTANCE LEARNING (ODL) AT IMU

Flexibility is key to Open and Distance Learning.

Open and Distance Learning is a form of education where students of some Master and Postgraduate Certificate programmmes at IMU are able to study around existing commitments as the programmes are delivered online. These online degrees are designed to help students’ progress in their career and students often find that they can immediately apply what they learn online in their daily profession. Open and Distance Learning students usually study at a learning environment of their choice while receiving all the support and services from the university, the same as the on-campus students.

The University’s postgraduate programmes encompasses critical and in-demand disciplines such as clinical research, biomedical science and public health, conducted via coursework (with dissertation) or solely via research. These programmes aim to broaden the scope and impact of medical practitioner’s and other healthcare professionals’ contributions. Students who meet the requirements will also have the opportunity to apply for bursaries.
