About The Programme

The Bachelor of Nursing (Hons) degree is a part-time programme offered in Open and Distance Learning (ODL) mode, with minimum study duration of 3 ½ years. This ODL programme is specially designed and tailored to the needs of working registered nurses who wish to upgrade their Diploma in Nursing qualification to a Bachelor’s degree for career advancement while still remaining in their workplace.

This programme aims to enhance the graduate practitioner with the necessary knowledge, skills and attitude required of a professional nurse practitioner in playing a variety of roles within various healthcare settings and community.

Who is Eligible to Study?

For Malaysian Candidates

  • Pass Diploma in Nursing from a recognised institution by Malaysian Nursing Board (MNB).
  • Minimum TWO (2) years clinical working experiences.
  • Possess current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) for nurses from MNB.
  • For International Candidates

  • Pass Diploma in Nursing and Registered with the Nursing Council of the country of origin.
  • Minimum TWO (2) years clinical working experiences.
  • Possess Temporary Practicing Certificate (TPC) for nurses from MNB.
