The IMU Chiropractic programme has been designed to meet international accreditation criteria. This gives our students the incredible potential to impact people worldwide.

IMU is the only university to offer a Chiropractic Degree programme in Malaysia as well as in all of Southeast Asia. Graduates are eligible to practice in Australia and many other developed countries as the programme is accredited with conditions by the prestigious Council on Chiropractic Education Australasia (CCEA).

The 5-year Bachelor of Science (Hons) Chiropractic programme at IMU was awarded accreditation with conditions by the prestigious Council on Chiropractic Education, Australasia(CCEA). With this accreditation, graduates with the IMU chiropractic degree would be eligible to practice in Australia and other countries (provided they meet certain local requirements ie English language proficiency, examinations on local legal issues, visa and work permits, etc).

Fazlina Razif acknowledged the obvious risks and still decided to forge ahead with her plans of opening her very own chiropractic clinic. Despite the seemingly impossible circumstances, 3 years later My Spine Network is still going strong.
Fazlina Razif
Piong Shun Zhe was born and raised in Malaysia. He moved to Hong Kong to pursue a career as a chiropractor under NYMG (EC Healthcare), which has gifted him the opportunity to work hard and play hard. With his athletic ability and a love of Dodgeball, sport has been his driving force to excel as a chiropractor. His clinical knowledge and skills as a chiropractor have allowed him to seamlessly understand how the body works and how all joints and muscles function as a unit which improves his performance overall.
Piong Shun Zhe
Tay Pei Shen graduated with a chiropractic degree from International Medical University (IMU) in 2017. She is currently a full-time chief resident and lecturer at the New Zealand College of Chiropractic and lectures part-time at IMU, as well as a consultant for chiropractors in Malaysia and New Zealand. She is also the first Malaysian Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Board of Radiology (DACBR). Here, she relates her journey on how she became a DACBR.

Gordon Boo Kuo Tuan exemplifies the Young Alumnus Award: Professional Leadership spirit through his sparkling professionalism, sincere interest in excellent patient care and generosity. When he started out in Shanghai even during pre-pandemic times, it was somewhat harder than he expected and for that very reason, he is understanding and empathic towards fellow Malaysians especially IMU Chiropractic Alumni who aspire to make their way in Shanghai.

What personal experience did Vicknesh endure in order to identify his destined path? It was through his brother, he had a fall and was diagnosed with a slipped disc. What would be the next best option other than surgery, yes you are absolutely right – A Chiropractor. Little did Vicknesh knew that his life is about to change just by accompanying his brother to his Chiro visits. Through these visits, Vicknesh understood the beauty of a Chiropractic Journey.
